Jasmine Saves the Day! A Story about Trusting Your Instincts, is a short children’s story featured in Brave Kids: Short Stories to Inspire Our Future World-Changers, Volume 2. In this short story, Jasmine and her family live in a decrepit pole house on a river in Cambodia. They moved there just two weeks ago as her family relies solely on the fish their father catches and sells at the market each day to live. Calamity strikes when his boat becomes stranded on treacherous rocks in the middle of the river. To help her father, Jasmine must overcome her fear of what lies below the river’s murky waters. Amid the chaos and with the help of a mysterious, magical talking monkey, Jasmine learns about the most important tool she has when facing her fears—to trust her instincts!
