Brave Kids: Short Stories to Inspire Our Future World-Changers, Volume 3
A Magical Tale from Cambodia, The Power of Listening
Jasmine and her older brother, Chann, return to the story. This time, we follow Jasmine as she faces a bully in the neighborhood. She goes to her big brother, Chann, for help. Chann takes Jasmine on a magical walk to the beautiful temple known as Angkor Wat. It is there that they meet their old friend, Monkey. Monkey knows all about active listening and provides some wise advice to Jasmine. The story ends with Jasmine practicing some active listening skills of her own and making a new friend along the way. This entertaining story reminds us that with understanding and support, we can create a world where every child feels safe, valued, and loved.

Solo Children’s Book
I’m thrilled to share a sneak peek into my upcoming solo book, which is still in progress! This project has been a true labor of love, merging my passion for children with important themes that resonate deeply with me. The story features a magical dandelion named Dan, who embarks on a whimsical adventure with two lucky kids. Along the way, Dan not only inspires imagination but also addresses the pressing issue of climate change, empowering young readers to discover ways they can make a difference.
The time is right for courage and compassion. Kudos to these authors for gathering their stories around their hearts and inspiring children to become their best selves.

This captivating piece brings together a remarkable group of writers, each an expert in their own right, whose stories weave together into a cohesive theme of bravery. It’s a celebration of the courage it takes to face our fears, whether as children or adults, and push forward regardless. The magic of this collection lies in its unity; the whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts, offering readers of all ages a powerful message about the strength found in vulnerability and perseverance.

Of all the gifts we can offer our children, the greatest, yet most challenging, is that of resilience. Brave Kids, Vol. 2. subtly weaves this invaluable trait into its stories, instilling in young minds the power to overcome obstacles, amplifying their inner strength.
Derek Strokon
Finding stories that are truly brave, written by authors who fearlessly tackle delicate themes, is rare. This exceptional collection is a gem that beautifully weaves together words, instilled with nurturing energy and wisdom, imparting important topics and messages to today’s children.

This is a delightful and brilliant collection of short stories that will help encourage children (and some adults) in ways to be strong, courageous, and brave, especially for those who struggle with self-confidence. As an advocate for the defenseless and vulnerable, it’s my hope this book finds its way into many hands. Each story has a unique way to summon that inner strength that’s bursting to be released.
